iraq movie
The movie we watched was pretty funny. It was about the everyday life of the soldiers, apart from having to go patrol and getting blown up or killed, they have a pretty normal life. The soldiers partied in gunner palace and had a great time, but they were hated by the civilians there. The news report kept on saying that the US had things under control and stuff, but it wasn't that way at all. Many soldiers were killed either by RPGs,IEDs, or gunfire(mostly IEDs), most wanted to go home but coudn't. They lived in a place where they could die anywhere, anytime... but they had no choice. Even though in the film, you see the soldiers living happily, partying and stuff, it doesn't show you the actual fighting. In the film, it seems like living there isn't actully "bad" So basically, this is a film mainlyu talking about the lives of the soldiers in Iraq and what they do. | | Tuesday, February 21st, 2006 | | 8:44 pm |

Around 1:20, he sideswiped a black saturn and continued going. On the highway, he rear-winded a Jeep wrangler and brushed against another vehicle taking down a few road signs along the way. He only stopped after he broadsided blue ford focus, causing it to hit the back of a sport vehicle. The crash was so violent that the engine of the ford was knocked out of its frame. The driver of the ford, Timothy Brosnan 66, died instantly from the crash. Witnesses say that Joseph wasn't driving too fast but was driving erratically. Joseph would undergo tests for alchohol, but was not charged of crime. (Go to the link to see a picture of the the infiniti that Joseph rode on ...) |
